Emma Gene Bocanegra, B.A., Assistant SLP

Emma believes that compassion and discipline play an important role in her treatment approach for her patients. Her experience as an assistant speech language pathologist in hospitals, schools and rehabilitation settings has allowed her the benefit of seeing the challenges facing children with ASD and the most effective ways to approach their treatment. She earned her Bachelor in Communication Disorders and a minor in Rehabilitative Services from the University of Texas Pan American in 1999. She loves what she does, and her ability to think outside the box is an asset to her patient’s rehabilitation.
